Megalodon Tooth – Fossil Shark Tooth (approx. 8 × 6 cm)

Hold an impressive piece of prehistory in your hands with a special fossil shark tooth from Morocco, offered as a Megalodon (Otodus megalodon).

The Megalodon was one of the largest predatory sharks to ever inhabit our oceans. This impressive prehistoric shark lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago and could reach an estimated length of more than 15 meters.

With its enormous jaws and powerful, serrated teeth, the Megalodon was a formidable hunter. Its dentition was perfectly adapted for seizing and tearing large prey, including marine mammals.

Our fossil shark teeth have a characteristic triangular shape, a wide root with two lobes, and fine serrations along the cutting edges. The natural colors range from light sand and gray tones to warm brown tones and dark gray.

Measuring approximately 8 × 6 cm, these teeth are impressive collectibles that make the fascinating history of prehistoric marine life tangible.
